Catherine Tansley, C.C.C., B.Mus., B. Mus. Ed., M.Ed
Catherine holds a Bachelor of Music and Music Education from Memorial University. In 2014, she completed a Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology and since this time has been a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She has 5 years of experience volunteering with the Newfoundland and Labrador Sexual Assault Crisis Centre, has completed Applied Suicide Intervention Skills training, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Behavioral Interventions training and is currently completing a certificate in "Breaking the Worry Trance" - anxiety coaching. Catherine works from a feminist, client-centered approach, using theoretical and researched based methodologies.
Currently Catherine is a music specialist with the Newfoundland English School Board and is Principal Tubist with the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra. She is excited to be joining the staff of Be Well Therapeutics and will be accepting clients in February 2020 with evening and weekend availability. She is also offering online consulatations as we navigate the Covid-19 pandemic.
